with the German Aerospace Centre (DLR),Sensodrive is developing an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) for the United Nations World Food Programme, which remotely transports relief supplies to crisis regions or flooded areas. Thanks to Sensodrive's force feedback control, the driver of the land drone will literally be able to “feel” the terrain in his telepresence room – for example via the resistance in the steering levers – and reliably keep the vehicle on an optimum course.
