Our story begins with a visionary idea: bringing high-precision aerospace robotics into industrial applications
A research project at the German Aerospace Center laid the foundation for a breakthrough: the precision and feedback of space robotics were to set new industrial standards.
With the first Sensodrive torque sensor and a groundbreaking steering wheel simulator, Sensodrive entered the market. A small team with a big mission: elevate human-machine interaction to a new level.
Demand grew rapidly. In automotive, medical technology, and robotics, Force Feedback technology proved key to natural, intuitive, and safe human-machine interaction. Sensodrive became a leading provider of innovative haptic solutions.
The SensoWheel SD-LC became our first steering wheel and the technological heart of all SensoWheel products today.
The SensoWheel VEM marked our first system extension and a major innovation step, expanding the Sensodrive system architecture.
With the SensoWheel ECO and SensoWheel HT, we opened revolutionary new application fields and significantly broadened our product portfolio.
Our mechanical end stop and the revolutionary SensoPedals gave users a completely new realistic experience, marking our entry into precise, high-fidelity feedback systems for simulation and training.
Research into intelligent control methods led to the SensoKnob, setting new standards for tactile interaction and intuitive control.
The torque sensor laid the foundation for modern simulators: precision in motion through exact force and movement measurement.
Key product launches this year – SensoShifter, Senso TM, and SensoPedals Pro – expanded our portfolio into a complete, modular system.
The new-generation SensoPedals Pro were developed for the most demanding simulation, research, and industrial applications, delivering maximum precision, enhanced haptics, and ultimate durability.
We proudly launch Sensomotive as an independent part of the Sensodrive family, redefining our Force Feedback division and taking simulation technology to the next level.
